InstaLockDown for Windows

Insta-LockDown is a data theft prevention software which is specially useful when copying of data needs to be restricted in spite of several users using the same computer and all have the administrator password. Insta-LockDown also is a handy deterrence to data theft when the PC has been accessed by an unauthorized user or the computer is left unattended even for a short period of time.

Insta-LockDown disables the use of USB flash drives, restricts browser based upload of data via web applications such a YouTube/Facebook/Twitter, disallows attachments in web mail such as Gmail/Hotmail/Yahoo, stops data being copied onto smart phones via Bluetooth as well as denies access to the internet via modems, data cards wired networks or wifi.

Insta-LockDown also automatically locks down an unattended and IDLE PC.

The user can lock & unlock these routinely used data channels on the basis of a ctrl-key combination and password. The key combination, password as well as the IDLE auto lock duration can be set via the Insta-LockDown Control Panel.
