  I email and receive undeliverable address returns. These stack up to a couple of thousand over a month or so. I used to have to manually delete each address from my address book. This software doesn't install into the registry. It opens with an input/output page. However, first you need to take the emails and export them into a single text file (check your T-bird or Outlook for how to export). Once you have a single big file select it as input. Press the button and name the output file. Nothing shows up on the screen, but a file is created you can open in any text editor. Each line is a separate unique email address. Once figure out, it took about 30 seconds to reduce 1500 emails to 1711 unique addresses (1 per line). Ignore the notice of maximum file size, Mine was 4.5 MB and it was fine. Next, import these to Access and use remove duplicates to clean your emailing list.

  Pros

  No installation required... works straight from an exe. Very user friendly. As well as extracting emails from a text file, it also does the same job on the clipboard. I have hundreds of returned emails in Outlook. I copied the lot to a text file, and then extracted the email addresses using this brilliant little program. It saved me hours of copy/paste !
