Fast Cleaner Gold for Windows

Long computer use can leave a hard drive cluttered with as much junk as an ordinary, offline desktop. Fast Cleaner Gold is designed to clean, streamline, and protect a machine, but its chaotic organization and limited feature set leave it stuck well behind many of its peers. After installation, users are presented with a list of utilities that partially duplicate each other's tasks. These perform such jobs as deleting junk and temporary files, cleaning the Internet Explorer cache, and eliminating the traces left behind from utilities such as WinZip. However, the program lacks advanced features such as a permanent file shredder that can prevent data recovery, or a scheduler that can perform cleanups automatically. All told, the program's limited features are helpful, but we think Fast Cleaner Gold is unlikely to satisfy the most demanding computer users.
