  Back2Life did absolutely nothing to recover a home video AVI that I accidentally deleted less than 30mins prior. Back2Life might be a wiz at finding old web history and MS word documents, but when it comes to media, like avi's and mpeg's, it's a failure. When I consulted the help section it literally said: "The end... Well, we did everything possible with this drive."<p>Waste of money.

  Found and restored my deleted file which was not in a large number of files in the recycle bin. Saved me from trying to recreate this file at great effort. <p> <p>I was very pleased.

  It will cost you nearly nothing for a lifetime license!!! And indeed is a tool for your whole life. I use it to safe data everywhere i need its just great fpr helping people and myself because i cant backup 600 GB.

  Thanks for the program. I could restore 500 Mb files with its help. I used different programs, earlier. But only Back2Life 2.4 can to see the files necessary to me.

• Very easy to use and does a wonderful resurrection of my dead disks

  I have used this software many times (my disks crash often, it seems - maybe because I am a download junkie). I tried this software about two years ago and it has really saved my bacon. So easy to use and so thorough in finding my recoverable files -- all for a very reasonable cost. Try it - you'll like it.

  I could find only one thing that I would change if I knew how - when it stalls (all these programs find situations that are strange to them at times) the program would revert to a standby situation and not go dead and have to start the scan all over again
