• Wonderful program; Great support

  Pros

  This is a wonderful, reasonably priced program that makes tracking a large or small collection easy. I use a Windows computer and have a fairly large collection of coins of the world. This program's database includes nearly all the coins I have collected. It is easy to enter a coin and the program allows for notations on where it is stored. Best of all, their customer support is wonderful.

  Cons

  Upgrading the program, while free, does not always include all the coins I have added to the database. While I am able to use the reports feature to locate these 'missing' coins, it does take some time to re-enter them. I am preparing to upgrade the program again and plan to make more careful notes on the coins that I have carelessly added to the database in the past. I will submit them to EC and I expect they will add them to the database for future releases. Once this is done, the problem should go away.

  Summary

  I started with a different program which had no customer support. I switched to Exact Change and have been extremely pleased with both the program and the support.

• Unstable program running in the Mac world

  Pros

  Seemed like it had a lot of features... Many didn't function correctly.

  Cons

  CRASHES!!! Deletes data... Needs a Mac programmer to fix it's issues... Not MAC friendly... The only program that has locked up my Mac in years...

  Summary

  WARNING!!!! Stay away from this program... I lost 10 hours worth of work by trying to delete 1 entry... The program locked up and poof there went all the data... It's not Mac friendly... DON'T waste your money ($79.00) ... BENTO has a coin data base not as complete as Exact Change but at least it won't crash...
