This program lacks fancy features but nevertheless offers a simple, efficient method for setting reminders. At first glance, DtNotes' interface might look a bit more confusing than it actually is, especially since the application's main window is littered with tiny icons. However, you can get started creating a reminder simply by clicking the Note menu item. The program provides several categories for classifying notes, including those for meetings and mission-critical items. Notes can be pinned directly to your desktop, and you can change the color and transparencies of the reminders, as well as the font style and size. Alternatively, DtNotes will pop up a message when your scheduled event approaches, and it can play WAV files as alerts. If you need to look back at past events, the app lets you search archived and deleted reminders.
