  Filtering is good on recovering files and scanning process is very quick.

  Cons

  Cannot open to full screen when recovered files have long directory path. It is a nuisance trying to scroll sideways to see the complete path.

  Pros

  This is a really user friendly bit of software. I found it easy to use and easy to understand – it really does exactly what is says on the tin. To be able to recover and delete files at a push of a button has been invaluable to me saving both time and resource. I would buy this product if this was the only feature. I love the graphics and the ease you can manoeuvre around the software. I have already been recommending it to friends and colleagues as once you start using it you really will wonder how you managed before Drive Discovery.

• Surprisingly amazed

  Pros

  I say surprisingly because I looked at their old version 1.1 and I didn't like it. This new software is everything that should've been and I'll probably buy a license. Cleaning operations are amongst the fastest I've seen and being able to check the drive for recoverable data afterwards is a cool idea. I was surprised to see file recovery in here because that really is a product in its own right, and its excellent recovery software as well. It's a clever move to include it so you can check to see whether any files are recoverable after cleaning. I'm particularly impressed with the information displays. They've done things with tool bars that make you want to just sit and watch it doing its job.

  Pros

  Its frightening how many files etc that this software can recover that you thought had been deleted. Its cleaning and defrag is a great bonus - it actually wipes under existing files and defrags as it goes. I feel so much safer about my private info now!

• A great all-in-one file recovery / privacy tool!

  Pros

  Not crippled to try to get you to buy a license before you can recover anything you've accidentally deleted! The idea of merging file recovery functionality with privacy tools is novel and it does an awesome job of cleaning up your hard disk. I like the idea that you can clean your disk then check to see whether anything is recoverable afterwards. Cleaning under files and defagging them at the same time is something I've not seen anywhere else. For a file recovery product, its one of the best privacy tools I've seen. Easy to use, does the job well and has plenty of nice design touches. Got my lost file back too!
