- Not a bad piece of software. But, be darned sure it does exactly what it says it will do for you because their tech support sucks so bad they should be named Hoover! I bought this piece of crap and didn't test it thoroughly. After SEVERAL attempts to contact their "tech support", I just gave up and unloaded it. Bye-bye $40... hello Directory Opus. At least it works.

- When I compare it to Novatix's program <p>[explorerplus] I like the layout of Novatix's Explorerplus better. <p>I believe Explorerplus has more <p>"layouts" to choose from. <p>[They have choices for 1 window, 2 windows-vertical, 2 windows-horizontal, norton commander style and one other I believe].

- A nice implementation at a decent price, but essentially a copy of Commander (Total/Norton). Directory Opus has a far larger feature set and more customizable interface.

- This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />One's choice of a file manager comes down to two things: does it do what you need it to do and is it simple to use? For me, Magellan gets an A+ on both counts and, as a bonus, adapts readily to my changing needs.
