This adapter, consisting of the PC card itself and various connection cables, is suitable for applications requiring secure data transfer at high transfer rates and possibly two partner stations.Notebooks, made 1999 and later, usually have a cardbus slot and thereby a PCMCIA interface.For desktops we recommend the PCMCIA-PCI-card adapter from Elan and Delock.
