Diamond Linux-TT wants to be the friendliest way to ditch Windows. It's a Debian-based OS that mimics the Windows interface, aiming for painless migration. The big promise: a full OS up and running in just 15 minutes.

  • Pros

    • Get that familiar Windows feel without paying for the OS | Live preview lets you kick the tires before committing | Wizard simplifies setup, even wireless configuration | Built-in LibreOffice, Chromium, and codec support is a nice touch

  • Cons

    • Still Linux, so some Windows apps just won't work | KDE might feel clunky if you're used to modern Windows | It's yet another distro—do we really need another one?
