Descripto for Windows

Descripto integrates with Skype to give you a platform for taking notes about all of your contacts, making it easy to keep track of who's who. Never get stuck in an awkward Skype conversation again with this handy app.

Pros

Smooth installation: In order to use this app, you have to have a Skype account and have the Skype app installed on your PC. The app tells you exactly what you need to do if you don't already have Skype installed, and then connects to Skype to request access to your contacts. The integration is smooth and quick, and your contacts will be loaded into Descripto in no time.

Good features: This isn't an app loaded with features, but the ones it does have are very useful. Through the intuitive interface, you can quickly jot down notes about any of the contacts in your list and then look back at those notes at any time.

Cons

No help: The program is supposed to come with an Online Help feature, but when we tried to access that, we got a message saying that the Web page was suspended. Hopefully it will be back up and running in the near future.

Bottom Line

Especially if you have a lot of Skype contacts, this can be a very useful app. It works well and completely integrates with Skype without you even needing to log in again. Plus, Descripto is free, so there's no reason not to check it out and see if it's useful to you.
