This tiny application tests your computer's system speed, although it produces vague results. CPU-Speedflash 1.21's gamelike structure has ample menu headers and easy-to-use key shortcuts. The program tests your CPU speed by measuring the speed of the entire system. The program tests system speed by manipulating objects. An X mark on the middle of the display screen is circled by minute objects as a CPU meter registers system speed. At tests' end, a pop-up window appears with your system score. Your score is compared against systems tested by the utility author. Your score is ranked as slow, average, fast, very fast, highspeed, or gigaspeed. No information is given about the test systems. Without specific and reproducible scores based on known systems, it is difficult to gauge the effectiveness of speed scores. At best this application is a simple and quick speed test for administrators testing multiple similar systems.
Good interface, a lot of information at a glance, real time monitor of different values of your CPU
Cons
The benchmark is too slow, I like quick results. The precision is affected by many other things anyway...
Summary
It is fast, but kind of unaccurate.

Pros
Fast,

easy to use,

no install.
Cons
this app's simple interface left me (and no doubt other power-users) wanting more; it's good for noobs that don't need a lot (if any) info. it runs a quick test that i'm not sure i trust (my 1.5yr old laptop scored a 'gigaspeed'). all in all it's a good

program for a quick benchmark, but it may be out of date
