Used CPU 100 for Windows?
Editors’ Review
Although it has a single purpose, this application couldn't push CPU usage to a continuous 100 percent as promised. CPU 100 doesn't even need an interface. It merely displays a dialog information box with a simple statement and a URL for donations.
Execute CPU 100 and the app does increase CPU usage. However, the load varied considerably during testing and rarely reached 100 percent. Testers also complained that the application often failed to close when requested. Task Manager's End Task command was often the only way to shut down CPU 100.
It's possible CPU 100 could work on some systems. Those with a dire need to see their systems pushed to full load have a small chance CPU 100 will do the trick. There's no monetary risk to trying this application. And it is easy to uninstall.
