Allocate and free up memory to optimize your system using this effective and handy memory-managing utility. MemoryBoost runs in the system tray and has a clear-cut, straightforward interface that allows even novice users to easily grasp how it works. The utility automatically optimizes your RAM by recovering wasted memory. It also has a seven-step optimizer wizard (including system reboot), wherein program start-up and performance are enhanced. The applications manager offers options, and presents pie charts and line graphs of memory changes after boosting. It also has a detective feature that acts as a task manager wherein the memory consumption of each running program is displayed so users can easily identify which program uses the most memory. For advanced users, additional options are available for quick boosting and system start-up actions for freeing memory. One flaw we found is that for a program that manages memory use, it consumes more memory than other commonly used programs. Overall, we find the 15-day trial utility efficient and easy to use for anyone.

MemoryBoost frees unused memory, making your computer run faster and more reliably. Windows lets closed programs stay in memory; that's why you have to reboot your computer to keep the performance up. MemoryBoost solves this problem by reclaiming unused memory for your applications. They run faster and Windows has less work to do, resulting in more stability for your programs and system as a whole. MemoryBoost itself is small and lightweight; it does not install any new system drivers or anything else that could destabilize your system. It also provides in-depth statistics and a history of memory-usage, so you can see how much MemoryBoost has helped your computer. MemoryBoost also comes with a unique Detective feature, which shows you how much of your memory each running program is using and enables you to identify and shut down memory-hogging programs.
