LanSchool creates a computer lab environment where teaching and learning really take place. LanSchool gives control to teachers by allowing them to remove distractions, demonstrate skills, and monitor student activity.
LanSchool empowers teachers, librarians, and professors by providing 3 simple, yet powerful capabilities:
REMOVE DISTRACTIONS by blanking out student screens or disabling web browsing
DEMONSTRATE SKILLS by broadcasting your PC view to all student screens
MONITOR ACTIVITY with thumbnail views of each student screen
LanSchool is very simple to use, keeping your focus on teaching, not managing software!

1. It seems that Fortress will sometimes prevent the LanSchool Student Service from starting. While the reason for this is not know, we have added a fail-safe student loader which will make sure that the student service is running at every login event.
2. The Student Update didn??????¢???¢????¬???¢????¢t work for win9x student machines.
3. If the student was awakened from suspended mode, his login name would not appear properly on the teacher??????¢???¢????¬???¢????¢s View Student list.
1. If either a teacher or student is running VPN software, LanSchool needs to use smaller UPD packets. There now is a #define in pktdefs.h which will define this.
By default this is NOT defined because we always optimize for the normal case.
