Version: zsCompare 2.42
Pros: I have various sets of files I need to move from my home desktop computer to a laptop (linked through a wireless connection). I like it better than LAPLINK for this purpose. For example, LAPLINK requires you to start their process on both computers to move files. Not bad if they're next to each other, but not good if you're downstairs and the other system is 2 floors up. With ZSCompare you just fire the application up. It also affords you the ability to save sets of file comparisons (this folder on the Desktop; that folder on the laptop) and automatically compare and update them. Works well for me.
Cons: I've had some problems with a network storage device (connected via Linksys storage link) timing out. When it times out, it leaves file remnants on the network drive that I can not delete. However, I'm not sure that's the fault of the ZSCompare application.
