Hoping to challenge YouTube's content dominance, this free streaming application for iPhone lets you choose among a strange brew of news and entertainment channels--CBS News Mobile and VH1 are two--to watch short takes on current events, celebrity gossip, and beauty advice. There are also a fair number of movie and game trailers. Watch by channel or by popularity and flag your favorites. When you're done, rate the video, passing the good ones on to pals. The streaming quality isn't bad, but will no doubt improve in step with the technology.
VSnax Videos' Hollywood focus hinders its potential as a serious video content-provider, but with more varied partners, vSnax Videos could get much closer. Like all streaming technology, vSnax Videos works best on iPhones with good 3G or Wi-Fi coverage.

Pros: The videos look amazing and it's free, which I like since the iPhone and AT&T plan already cost me enough!
Cons: Couldn't find any sports videos.
