From sebi:

proxer adds a new menu enty in After Effects' file menu called "Find and set Proxies". This commad then searches in a folder called "proxies" for files with the same name ans the selected footage files and sets them as proxies. This way you can set lots of proxies with a single command.

Earls beta version. Use with caution, feedback is welcome.
