Since hackers never name their programs "badtrojan" and always mimic a legitimate company’s name and attributes, validating the file is a full time job that requires specialized training and tools, without which a decision is just a guess. pcInternet Patrol is a next generation, smart PC firewall: when any component wants to access the Internet, pcInternet Patrol sends a real-time query to our proprietary online database of files that have been analyzed by security experts. Only known safe components will be allowed to operate, while occasional "unknowns" will be analyzed for you in nearly real-time. pcInternet Patrol has only one security setting--the highest possible--and asks you to make only one critical decision--to install it.
