Although iTunes has always been one of the best pieces of jukebox software available, the company improved upon a great thing with version 7, which has added enhanced video capabilities, ringtone editing for the iPhone and new ways to view your music library.
A cleaned-up left sidebar makes finding your music and videos a snap and the new Album and Cover-Flow view options let you flip through CDs in style. The built-in video player accommodates both your own files and ones bought at the iTunes Store. Right-clicking a clip lets you render it iPod-compatible. With the addition of full-length movies at the iTunes Store, you can now view near-DVD quality movies at a resolution of 640x480.
The experience of both purchasing and playing movies and videos is almost identical to performing the same actions with music, so seasoned users will have no trouble. Old popular features remain intact including seamless iPod integration, smart playlists, CD burning, label printing, the ability to rip files in multiple formats (except WMA), network sharing, and, of course, the enormously successful iTunes Store.
The iTunes Store also offers DRM-free, higher sound quality songs, but they're more expensive than the standard $0.99, as are ringtones.
Rounding out the feature set are parental controls, integrated podcasts, and a smart-shuffle option. iTunes is sometimes clunky on Windows, and can cause significant processor slowdowns. Still, it remains a top-notch player and iTunes 7 should find a home on any media junkie's computer.

Version: iTunes 7.5
Cons: Slowed down my computer and did not start. Go with 7.4 if for some reason you need it

Version: iTunes 7.5
"The Reason Why I Don't Use Ipods"
Pros: The only way to transfer music to Apple's products (Ipods mostly)
Cons: 1) I don't know why this happens, but when I plug in my IPod somewhere else or delete the playlist, it deletes my songs in the Ipod also.
2) This program does not run unless you have QuickTime and QuickTime is a pain in a neck and very intrusive.
3) Very high on resources and it seems very bloated when I have it open
4) Couldn't be anymore simpler because after having it for so long, I still didn't know how to use it properly.
5) It didn't uninstall when I asked it to. I uninstalled it from my add/remove programs, yet it was still on the list but with no file size or details. I had to download a "program removal" software to get it off my list. From then on, I never used Itunes again.
6) A reason why I don't use Apple's Ipods or Shuffle anymore. I hate this bloated and oversized program.. a lot.

"Not needed bloated software package"

Version: iTunes 7.5
Pros: Loving iTunes in conjunction with the ipod is a given, hands down. Mac uses album art work from itunes to create an awesome screen saver. Windows finally has this program and you can get it from my website MonthsForever.blogspot.com.
Cons: I gave this version only 3 stars because it would not work for me. I couldn't even get it open. I googled it and found many issues with this version. Seems like they would fix the bugs and come out with an updated version. So I uninstalled itunes and quicktime and rolled back to version 7.4. Works, although I get a message saying "windows system components that iTunes requires are missing or corrupt." I updated to version 7.5 hoping this would go away. 7.5 brought worse problems. I still have that error message.
