Although iTunes has always been one of the best pieces of jukebox software available, the company improved upon a great thing with version 7, which added enhanced video capabilities and new ways to view your music library.
A cleaned-up left sidebar makes finding your music and videos a snap and the new Album and Cover-Flow view options let you flip through CDs in style. The built-in video player accommodates both your own files and ones you buy at the iTunes Store; right-clicking a clip lets you render it iPod-compatible. With the addition of full-length movies at the iTunes Store (Music is no longer part of the name), you can now view near-DVD quality movies at a resolution of 640x480.
The experience of both purchasing and playing movies and videos is almost identical to performing the same actions with music, so seasoned users will have no trouble (with fast broadband, movies download in about a half hour). With iTunes version 7.2, the option to buy higher quality, more expensive songs with no DRM is a necessary nod towards where the industry is going, but we wonder how it will be received by users. All the features we love from past versions are still intact, including seamless iPod integration, smart playlists, CD burning, label printing, the ability to rip files in multiple formats (except WMA), network sharing, and, of course, the enormously successful iTunes Store. Rounding out the feature set are parental controls, integrated podcasts, and a smart-shuffle option. Whether you're already among the converted or have yet to try this top-notch player, iTunes 7 should find a home on any media junkie's computer.

Version: iTunes for Windows 7.3.2
"Windows and I-Pod-less? Fugedduboutit!"
Pros: iTunes. Oh, boy. The program those hip little teenagers use once they get their Pods hooked to their computers down at Starbucks. The program's cool, right? It's sleek, fancy, and it's got some nice features for the Pod-lover set. Heck, even the podcast directory is worth downloading this for.
Cons: Except that if you are running Windows, this program will slow down your computer to no end. 1 Ghz, 2 Ghz, no matter what processor speed or how much RAM you have, everything falls to waste against Apple's sloppy Windows coding. To say the program runs badly is an understatement: most Windows programs can't function with iTunes sitting in the back.
Besides, if you don't have an i-Pod, don't bother; the programs' feature set is horrendous, forcing you to browse the only worthwhile item on the list, the music store. Of course, you need an i-Pod for that, so what's the point?
Get Winamp, Mediamonkey, or musikcube. This download is not worth the pain.

Version: iTunes for Windows 7.3.2
"Only useful to those who had iPod ownership."
Pros: Only plays MP3 and WMA files.
Cons: If you dont have iPod, it can also be a media player. That seems useless. There are lots of media players which can play lots of files. Cant play video files. Only MPEG4, mp3 OR wma.
Windows media player is a useful program for those who dont appreciate this player as it only play music and MPEG4.

Version: iTunes for Windows 7.3.2
Pros: As much as I love music, if you don't own an iPod, this software is virtually useless to you. On the plus side, it works wonderfully. You can download music, movies, and shows at your convenience with their handy 1 click buy buttons. Apple couldn't have made it easier, or the interface more attractive.
Cons: As I said, no iPod means it's not worth it. People like myself who have the Sansa or any other mp3 player can not use iTunes for our music. Apple is also behind the times in that they are the only major music service not to offer a subscription service. Shoehorned into this product is the Apple Software Updater, which automatically gets your program updates for you when they are available. This is quite unnecessary, and requires a trip to the Add/Remove programs menu in Windows just to get it off. .
Apple's proprietary DRM forces users to either listen to their music on iTunes or an iPod. And even their DRM free offerings still have tags in them that identify your e-mail address. I'm not a big fan of MS, but Apple cornered the market on proprietary software and hardware for music lovers long before the Zune came out.
Other than eMusic, you are stuck if you want to buy any new music for your iPod unless you use this program to get it.

Version: iTunes for Windows 7.3.2
Pros: It plays music (Sometimes, it refuses to play certain mp3's that work in ANY other player)
Cons: It completely fails at reading my mp3 library, any other playser (Winamp, WMP11, Foobar2000 ect...) work great, but iTunes doesn't add half of the mp3's at all, and doesn't read nearly all of the atgs correctly (Will have no correct info in library, only shows song name, no artsist album ect... I have to spend hours tagging my library just to have it skwewed again when I update iTunes. WHen I use iTunes for my ipod the fact that it reads almost none of my mp3's correcly just puts duplicate artists and lists half of them in unkown. I use winamp with my ipod and it works fine. It is very slow, buggly, and hogs resources.

Version: iTunes for Windows 7.3.2
"Resource hog and featureless."
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: It is a really big resource hog and is only useful if you have an iPod but you aren't an advanced user.
Much better off using Mediamonkey.
