From Tenon Intersystems :iTools is a set of network services for the Mac OS X. Included with iTools is a Web mail server, a domain name server, a multihoming FTP server, a robust SSL encryption engine with tiered-certificate support for e-commerce, a caching engine with state-of-the-art proxy support, a Sherlock-savvy search engine, and FastCGI to provide high-performance Perl and CGI execution. The Web mail tool turns the Mac OS X into a complete POP3, IMAP4, fully customizable Hotmail-style mail server. The FTP tool includes support for virtual FTP hosts, password-protected FTP, and anonymous FTP. The iTools Web server package is mature, integrated, and scalable, and all of the networking services are supported using a point and click, browser-based administration tool. This administration tool enables system administrators and Webmasters to manage their Web servers remotely using any Internet browser.
This preliminary version of iTools for OS X is now available as a public beta. The download link will take you to a form you will have to fill out before you are able to download the software. This beta is a 14-day trial.
