iLamp is a powerful screen saver specifically designed to unleash the full potential of the new 2002 iMac. It will turn your iMac into an ultra modern lamp when you are not using it as a computer ;-). However, iLamp may also be used on any other Macintosh, though it is then far less helpful... It will display an empty screen with a user-defined color.
What's new in this version:
- Added OpenGL support.
- Fully rewrote the lamp engine, it is now time-based instead of frame-based. That means the animation will no longer look sluggish.
- Added the color cycling feature.
- Replaced iTunes-like Inferiis picture. It does not pulse anymore, it is smaller and located in a corner of the screen now.
- Added the Luxo summoning feature!!!
- Lamps on secondary screens are now also switched on and off.
