excellent app. nice to have on the desktop. best of all the "trash can programs" for OS X.
excellent support from the developer as well. emails promptly responded too.
works in Tiger, Leopard fine. did notice in Leopard that when you drag items to the trash and empty via iCan, sometimes the trash can does not update and it shows that items are in it, but they are not. if you use the finder to empty the trash, then all is well. a small glitch that i am sure the dev will address.
highly recommended.

Thought I was going to be stuck forever with the Trash can in the Dock. I am new to OX 10.3.3 and hate the Dock in the worst way yet needed a Trash can solution. iCan did the trick with lots of cool looking Trash cans to choose from...decisions...decisions...which one to use. Easy to download & install, a breeze to register. Certainly worth $10 USD. THANKS!! :-) -

Recently installed this (and registered). Received the link for the additional themes, but they only display the system default set. Wrote the developer twice asking about this possible problem, but haven't heard back. -

it performs exactly as advertised, but it suffers because it really isn't a true icon on the desktop. Its an application like any other with a floating window.
Attempt to arrange the desktop by name, and the iCan will not be affected. Worse yet, use Expose to the desktop and iCan flies off the side of the screen.
Well done on many levels, but of limited use for me. -

I am using panther with iCan, i don't have the problem with the black shadow, but whenever I tried to open Preference, it will automatically crashes the application. The application remains fine, if I don't goto the Preference (either in the menu bar or in the icon). In Jaguar, I have never experienced this. -

Great app...been using iCan since the beginning starting last Dec. and I highly recommend it. For now, with this stop-gap beta version 3x, the black background square visible on earlier 2x versions running with Panther is now gone. This is great. But the right mouse button does not work.
Also when you enable ExposÒ©, the iCan icon is removed like other windows, then it will reappear. That is what I have found so far. I am glad the Developer is working through this and based on his past work am assured that he will overcome any issues and create a sound update to a really wonderful and indispensible app.
