Thanks to iBeeZz, you can choose when your Mac will go to sleep and when it will wake. You may also choose to log out on sleep. Otherwise, you may, on wake up, choose to:
- open a document with it's corresponding application,
- launch an application,
- or execute a compiled AppleScript (i.e. play music).

Summary
I first started using iBeeZz on my PowerMac many, many years ago and it always worked. It did become buggy during the some OSX upgrades so I quit using it. I just noticed a few days ago it was back and supports OS X Lion so I thought I'd give it another try. It works!
