iAnalyst v1.0, the first affordable log file analyzer targeted for today's small business and individual web site owners' needs. iAnalyst offers webmasters useful report data up-front in a comprehensive, point-and-click graphical interface.iAnalyst unlocks the data hidden in log files, revealing where visitors came from, how many there were, and what browser they used. In addition, the program tallies the total bandwidth utilized by visitor requests, and the site's most popular pages broken down by total number and percentage of hits. iAnalyst also performs reverse DNS lookups, converting numerical IP addresses into domain names for more accurate representation of where the visitor originated.Each of the program's settings is allocated into separate "reports," allowing the site owner greater flexibility when focused results are necessary. For example, a webmaster could have one report for calculating bandwidth used, another for counting referrering sites, and yet another to combine both settings into one report. In addition, each report can have an unlimited number of input files, including whole directories.Once a report is created and analyzed, iAnalyst can output the program's information to a unique interactive window within the program, save the report to a file for later perusal, or e-mail the report to individual recipients. The latter options are useful when iAnalyst is setup for report automation, in which the program can run automatically via command-line arguments.
