Expressit is a simple and effective way to apply labels to your discs, tapes and anything else you can think of. In conjunction with Pressit specially designed labels, exPressIt can be used to design, create and print your own designer labels for CD-R, DVD, VHS, MiniDisc, 8cm Mini DVD, Zip, Jaz and even Floppy disc media. Version 3 includes unspecified updates.

Easily create and print disc covers and labels with this easy-to-use but sluggish label-making software.
Though exPressit's gray interface looks drab, it's very easy to use. The program offers several templates for creating CD labels, floppy disks, slimline and regular jewel case inserts, and more. While the program offers a small collection of preloaded images and designs, you easily can import your own. There's no need to drag your selected graphics to fit labels perfectly, because the program also can resize images automatically for you. You can insert text and change font size, style, color and alignment. Also included is a printer calibration tool, so graphics properly align with the labels during printing.
Our only complaint is that the program runs a bit slow because it uses Java. Nonetheless, exPressit is free and useful for anyone who needs to create professional-looking CD covers and labels.

Pros: Simple, free, and creates a nice look on a variety of disk label types.
Cons: Sometimes a little too simple. Crop feature is nonexistent, dragging the picture larger does not automatically keep it's correct ratio, distorting the picture, and the undo button only goes back one process.
