-The fit to feature for graphics is useful.
-Prints graphics on Memorex label paper very well.Cons
Other companies that make label paper for discs (besides Memorex) have much better programs than exPressit. For example, Neato has theirs on the web, and it has many more graphics and text options. SEE MY SUMMARY FOR THE CONS, AS THERE ARE MANY!
Summary
-Can't color the background or add a texture yourself - backgrounds have to be imported as graphic files, and as others have noted it comes with few built-in graphics.
-Interface is inconvenient to use. For example, to send a selected object to the background, you have to click on edit -> order -> send to back. There should be a toolbar button to click on for this function. Any decent designer would have added one.
-Limited options for text, and the one option to curve the text is difficult to do. Their way of working with text is not easy. Also, the font select box does not list a preview of fonts, making it more difficult to choose an unfamiliar font.
-Opening files with this program is a nuisance! If you browse to find graphics or saved files, it does not remember what folder you last browsed to during the previous session. Also, it does not directly list "My Documents" as a folder, so you will need to browse to C: Users-> (usename) -> Documents to get to this folder.
-Finally, it forces Windows 7 to go into basic display mode, as it won't work with Aero. So it's behind the times. Bigtime. -

I like this product because it is free and easy to use, with or without your own images.
Cons
I can't use this for some of my already purchased CD labels, as there seems to be only the 1 standard offset layout.
Summary
I was dissapointed that I could not test this software out with my existing labels. It would be really great if there was an option to create a custom CD label layout for the round labels, as the budget ones are not always the offset variety. Otherwise, it seems to be very good.

I was able to fit the type onto the space available and actually have it end up where I wanted it. The end product looked good.
Cons
The con would have more to do with using the program with the printer and getting the design centered properly on the paper, rather than the program itself. I was happy with the improvements made since the previous version I had been trying to use.

Takes a lot of time to set up and print, but makes the cd/dvd look good.
Summary
If you want to take the time to prepare, print and stick a label on your cds and dvds this is real handy. I find it easier to write the title on with a pen, however.

I've scanned in many photos and background images to enhance what the program has so have plenty of ammunition for some great looking labels.
Cons
The browse to change folder setup is a bit clumsy.
Summary
I've had no problem using it with any OS, including Vista. It works great for a basic, FREE program. Have tried several other programs and this is by far the best.
