"Works just fine"

Pros
I threw various folders on four different drives containing more than 10 000 mp3s at this program and it zipped through the lot pretty quickly and accurately compared the metadata. I like the clean interface and friendly feedback from the developer. Tried four similar programs before this one and will stick with this. Good value for money and a definite time-saver.

Mmmm, misses a few duplicates but that may be because of my spelling errors!

you can set parameters of what mp3's to find. And you can use a variety of "sensitivty" scans that will return all those mp3's that have very similar titles or titles that are spread out throught the mp3 file. It can scam similar words within mp3's which is fantastic. Other MP3 products let you search for duplicate names--but the majority of my files, and most users, always have small variations--and extra hyper, a different version number. This is the only program that can look at these variations and give accurate results. There are also 5 seletings you can choose for, depending on how fact and accurate you want your searches. A real gem of an application with true fuzzy searching ability. It is the only app that can look at two files, compare similar words within those mp3's and tell you whether they seem to be the same. It is also lightning fast--you can scan byte-by-byte-but come on, how man people have mp3 dups that are exactly the same--there are always slight variations whihc makes all the other mp3 dup finding programs worthless since they usually can only look for literal titles. This application looks for similarites across the entire mp3 file. excellent

in the trial version, there is 4 second delay between the results it finds and when you can delete them.

It is very very fast (even going through 9Gb) and user-friendly.
Cons
After about 10 mins of using it and ticking items to delete, the screen gets all corrupted and then fails to work. Shame.

Abee Mp3 Duplicates Finder(you can find it in google or download.com) is better
It understands off and wma files and can find more duplicate and just similar files(remixes, variations).

I used this to clean up my MP3 files that I had scattered all over the place. It did a good job and accomplishing this task once I configuired everything. I've used MP3 Spacemaker as well and this program is much more configurable.

There is a 4 second wait between deletions, which means you must sit down at your computer to individually pick through each song the program has found and click 'ok' for each deletion.
