"I'll never second-guess another online purchase!"

Pros
Nonintrusive install. Provides merchant rating and bonded merchant info while still using my favorite search engine. When using the Buysafe portal, eBay items show up as well. I would highly recommend checking out this toolbar!
Cons
I still haven't figured out how the 'local stores' option works on the top of the safe shopping portal.
Summary
Based on bad experiences friends have had with the supposedly "great deal" they found online, I've always been leary of eBay and other smaller online merchants. Instead, I've often paid more for an item (especially electronics) in order to go with a big name online store. Now I'm finding myself using the safe shopping portal to see if I can find the item I'm looking for from a Buysafe bonded merchant. Needless to say, I'm finding great prices AND buying with confidence from Buysafe bonded merchants (even eBay listings, which I typically avoid).
It's great knowing that Buysafe bonded merchants have gone through a thorough review process, and I no longer worry about whether an online purchase is really from a reputable merchant. -

i like the fact that I can start a shopping search from Google and then I can access products and retailers that match my search from the shopping advisor which eliminates the need to check out the retailer because my purchase will be guaranteed
Cons
i love the tool but I am in the habit of using firefox so until the company has a firefox version, i have to remebr to do my shopping using IE
Summary
I am a junkie for shopping online - I do my best to stay out of the stores because i don't have the time to run around town. The Shopping Advisor gives me the opportunity to shop online with worry about whether i am going to get what i pay for (which has been a problem for me a couple of times) great tool!

It's very useful for online shopping. There are so many online stores with cool stuff, but it's hard to know who to trust.
Cons
I like the ratings and the safe shop portal - you have to click the second button on the Advisor. I didn't notice this right away but it's super cool.
Summary
With so many scams on the internet, it's nice to know there's somebody out there protecting you!

I'm a little suspicious of onine sellers. (deals always sounds too good... I hold my breath til my order arrives etc) -- its nice having a company out there trying to separate the wheat from the chaff. Simple to use, lots of benefits. Love the price.

I'm mainly a mozilla user -- website says mozilla version is coming soon

It is about time somebody created something to make it safe for people to shop online. I have been using the Shopping Advisor for two days now, and I especially love the merchant rating system. Very cool.

Pros
I got some pretty bad experience with big and small stores, including privacy and security issues. The fact that I can look up the rating of a store and make my own opinion is far better than relying on other's opinion and feedback. I am going to force my wife to install it on her computer!

This is so easy. As someone who has paid for items not delivered, I really value this tool. I will use it for all my shopping moving forward.

I just wish more websites offered the bond. I don't think that's related to the software, though.

"Great tool to protect yourself when shopping online"

Pros
Online shopping is great because I get the best deals and don't have to deal with the hassles of driving to the store, going into the store, fighting crowds, etc. The downside is that there are soooo many people offering the same product for the price I want. It can be overwhelming to choose who is going to be the best, most reliable merchant. I've heard of many people getting scammed buying online and I've had a few bad experiences myself. Buysafe's Shopping Advisor helps me distinguish the better merchants. I've been using it a few weeks, since I first downloaded the Beta version. Now when I'm on Google and I search for the product I'm looking for, I simply make sure to check for the buysafe signal. That tells me I'm buying from a dependable, trustworthy guy.
