ZipGenius 1.4 is different due to its many built-in features, which make it one of the most versatile product on the Web; also, ZipGenius can be expanded via the ZGTools: small applets that can run both as standalone and as services for ZipGenius.

ZipGenius 1.4 is clearly a mutlimedial app: it can plays MP3 in preview and it can acquire pictures from any TWAIN device, and compress them into a zip file.

The Web now is used just for anything, so ZipGenius works well with the Web, too: you can send via e-mail archives or just single files extracted from archives, or you can publish them on a website or on a FTP server. Do you need to download a certain archive? Well, type its url in ZipGenius and this programm will download and open that file.

What's new in this version:

  • Added JAR format support
  • Grid to separate data
  • Custom font can be applied to ZipGenius buttons and menus
