Publisher's Description
From GOTOES:
The Zip Mac Files for a PC program is a drag-and-drop application that creates zip files that won't confuse PC users. Mac users are accustomed to the simplicity of a Mac, but one problem with the Mac 'Create Archive' feature is that it includes these hidden files in the zip file. The Problem: When sending these files to PC users, they are often confused by the extra junk information.
Furthermore, PC users who use automated software to extract zip files will have their programs crash when receiving such files. The solution: Create your zip files using the 'Zip Mac Files For PC' program. It's actually faster and easier than the create archive feature, and the zip files it creates work on both Mac and PCs.
What's new in this version: Feature Request: Added Feature where users can now create zip files with resource forks preserved. This will produce a zip file with the hidden files, but rather than sequester the zip files into the __MACOSX folder like Apples built in compression tool, ZipFiles4PC will leave them in their respective folders.
Added ability to select (and remove) all, or some of the items in the table. To remove items, select the ones you want to remove, and then click the minus sign at the bottom right hand... See all new features

"Does what I need - no more calls from clients"
Version: Zip Mac Files For a PC 1.9
Pros
This app quickly compresses my files quickly, and I no longer get calls from customers who use PCs to unzip files. An instance where the phone not ringing is a good thing!
Cons
None that I can think of.
Summary
This app zips files quickly. It's user interface is clean and easy. It doesn't take a lot of disk space, and it is easy to fire up whenever I need to compress zip files.
