Went with BetterZip. I wanted something that can compress with 7z and create split-archives. BetterZip did that perfectly for me.
Using OS X 10.4.9 on MacPro.
The only .7z unarchiver that worked for me

Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.<br />I'd been looking for an unarchiver for .7z (7zip) archives. I tried Ez7z, but it couldn't handle the password-protected file. The UnArchiver quit with a "decrunching error", which had been fixed (according to its support board).
A post from VersionTracker listed sArchiver. I tried it, but didn't see support for encrypted files. I mentioned this to the developer, and he added support into the next update.
I'm happy with the product and the rapid response to my request.
About the ratings: The main rating (5) is for .7z support. sArchiver worked where the other two didn't. The 4s in the other categories reflect a still-evolving product.
