As the developer promises, ZSoft Uninstaller is indeed far superior to the native Windows program uninstaller. The freeware first runs the unwanted program's original uninstall option before cleaning up with its own technology. But for a more thorough uninstall, ZSoft Uninstaller offers an analyze function that you can use during the initial installation of programs to track exactly which files are being added to your system.
Later, when you want to uninstall a program, you can click the Analyzed Programs tab and rest assured that when you uninstall the program every associated file will be included. The search box for finding specific programs and the capability to get rid of temporary files are nice additions to this free program.
ZSoft Uninstaller works well, although it's not as robust as some other free uninstallers out there. Even though it may not have all the chrome of the competition, when it comes to getting its core task done--uninstalling unwanted apps--ZSoft Uninstaller is a good choice.

From ZSoft Software :An uninstall utility that are superior than the build-in function in Microsoft Windows, and allows you to search, delete entry's from programs that is no longer installed, automatically find entry's from programs that are most likely already uninstalled, and hide entries from the list that you are never going to uninstall (Windows updates) making the list smaller and therefore easier to manage. It automatically find entry's that are considered crap-ware, export the current list to a TXT file, show more information than available though add/remove, find and delete temporary files and analyze an installation so it can be completely uninstalled. Version 2.3 may include installation analyzer now reads the content of all registry items. Before it only read strings, integers and expanded strings meaning that other types of entries wouldn't be recreated if they had bin deleted now they will. Ignore List for the installation analyzer. This way you can e.g. set i to scan HKLM\SYSTEM and HKLM\SOFTWARE\Classes (by removing it from the ignore list) and add e.g. your default download directory. After uninstalling a program you will no longer be asked if you want to delete the dir it appeared to be install in, if that dir is (in) the dir windows is installed in. Temp File Finder improved. Somewhat rewritten standard-code (the engine behind the 'installed programs'). It should now be faster, and smarter. Note that the filter-functions work a little bit different now. Somewhat fix with 120 DPI font size. The backup-function in the temp-file-finder function should now work (for everyone). Show Recorded Info added to the right-click list in the Analyzed Programs tab, as requested (and promised). Russian language file thanks to Volovic Oleg. Italian language file thanks to Michele Nasi. Updated Dutch language thanks to computerNERDie.

Pros: Well actually i just found 4 free uninstaller program here so its easy to rate this is the best among them. Analyze and Temp File Finder features make this program more useful than others. Its running low memory as well. The only issue is it interface design that i think could be improve...maybe should add iconic list rather than green checking symbols

Cons: Got it installed, opened ok and read drive to list apps currently installed. When attempting to 'Analyze', dialog box opened and then it froze up. Couldn't close the box or the app. Had to use task manager to close. Reopened a second time and entire app froze again. Closed with task manager again and this time it opened my desktop tool bar from the task bar and locked the menu on screen. Couldn't close the desktop menu, had to reboot system, uninstalled Zsoft software, then restore system to previous settings before Zsoft was installed. Thank god for the system restore feature of WinXP! Was one of the longest restore sessions for me to date. Bottom line is this app did not work at all on my system. Took forever to reboot my system as well. Sorry, but I don't recommend this app . I consider it unstable and risky at best. Needs further testing and development. I had high hopes that I could take advantage of the installation tracking log, but couldn't get past the main app window.

"Have used for several months, it works..Great & Free"
Pros: I was looking for an uninstaller as I am a download.com junkie, and this works a treat, very rarely fails to uninstall, much better than windows own uninstaller, I use in conjunction with registry toolkit, and have not looked back. Highly recommended and free, the programmers a star!
Cons: Nothing, you cannot moan about stuff that works well and is easy to use.

"didn't do what I needed, exact same outcome as add/remove"
Cons: I needed it to remove a program that add/remove won't take care of. I got the same message. Installshield (R) Setup Launcher has encountered a problem.....

"Good install/unistall + possibility of making log of system changes on install"
Pros: Programm can make logs of changes in system during installations, so you can totally uninstall programm you don't like (registry changes, system files, programm folders).
Cons: This programm makes logs rather slow - on my (Celeron 2.00 GHz whith 120 mb RAM) it takes a about 2 minutes to make log of changes of C drive
