Computers inevitably accrue a mass of unwanted and unused files that eat up system resources and reduce system stability. Uninstalling these items can be an arduous task, but Your Uninstaller 2006 simplifies the process considerably.
The interface is attractive and handy, whether you run in Basic or Pro mode. We prefer Pro, which provides additional features for organizing your start-up items, contextual menus, and temporary files, and lets you drag and drop a program's icon to the uninstaller's icon to remove the program. The utility provides a far more comprehensive list of installed software than the standard Add/Remove Programs feature in Windows, and it removes programs more rapidly and thoroughly. It quickly scans for unnecessary files without taxing system resources. It can clean up files and Registry keys that past uninstalls have left behind; it can even uninstall itself.
Your Uninstaller 2006 would suit casual users more than serious system tweakers, but it manages the process of uninstalling programs efficiently and intuitively.

Pros: I'm a download junkie and had a program that would not uninstall from add & remove. This software did the trick. I'm still on the 21 day trial. Seems to be taking care of my addiction.
Cons: Some what pricey

"Essential app for your desktop!"
Pros: Incredible product - it seems to remove all traces of unistalled programs, even programs that do not come with an uninstaller or cannot be removed via windows control panel!

"Great all-in-one uninstaller"
Pros: Amidst a plethora of sloppily written software that doesn't work as it should...including uninstall itself properly, it's refreshing to know that someone has taken the initiative to write a great software program to correct that (the uninstallation part anyway) ;-) Great, simple "one touch" concept.
Cons: Doesn't quite remove ALL the registry entries. I run a dedicated registry cleaner afterwards and I always find residual registry keys.

Pros: I had a problem uninstalling some software,was leaving orphan files when it uninstalled,this program not only removed the software but also removed the leftover files.Some software will not i reinstall if you have leftovers,I thing i have to give this at least a 4 star rating.

"WARNING - POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE"
Cons: I coughed up $68.09 for this program,, well actually my younger cousin was over he got ahold of my Visa card information and placed an order on it without my consent... and it seems it has gone down the f-*bleep* toilet!
When i found about the purchase in my email soon after it was made - i promptly faxed them to request a full refund, but was ignored and never taken off - so i decided to use it anyways. however, i had to reinstall my PC last week along with all else...when i reinstalled Your uninstaller the registration code no longer works,,, through their website i sent them a message TWICE about the problem, but haven't heard but from them... >:( *bleep bleep*
To top that off - they provide no other means of customer support contact - no email or phone....what kind of outfit IS this????
If it weren't that bs, i'de give this software 4 or 5 stars..good software, bad service - not worth buying!
