As anyone who has spent evenings searching for and watching the occasional grumpy or existential cat video (don't look at us), you know that there are a ton of videos to weed through before finding the right one. YouPlayer offers users a way to search for their favorite video, and while it doesn't really offer anything different from the official YouTube app in terms of search, it performed as promised.
YouPlayer opens with a self-explanatory interface. Search options reside at the bottom of the screen. You can search by Featured videos, Most Viewed, and Trending. If you can't find what you're looking for that way, you can search manually. We typed in "existential cat" and, sure enough, our favorite series of cat videos appeared on the screen where we could select one to watch. The More feature lets you designate Top Rated videos to come back to for later viewing. Tapping the star icon below a video lets you come back later and view it in the Favorites section.
That's really all there is to YouPlayer. If you're looking for a way to browse for and watch YouTube videos, it's a solid choice. We recommend it.
