This application successfully backs up files, however the same doesn't hold true for its compression capabilities. Though drag-and-drop convenience is absent, adding files to Xlink EzOpenBackup Lite's bare interface by browsing and selecting is easy enough. You can back up as many documents as you would like, and its merge and extract tools are handy inclusions to better manage your backups. Scheduling backup jobs to run at regular intervals was just as easy, and filters can be added to narrow the selection. Xlink EzOpenBackup Lite worked fairly well in our tests, automatically running backup jobs on the dot, though the program's file compression tool didn't work at all. Nonetheless, users who don't miss the compression feature will appreciate this 15-day trial's backup effort.
