Version: Xingtone Ringtone Maker 4.2.12
"Faulty Serial Numbers, and poor customer support"
Pros: I have used this product before and it worked Wonderful!
Cons: After my computer crashed, I've written them about problems back on November 30, 2005 with no reply from them except for the "canned" here is your "Ticket Number and Message recieved" email. I have tried repetedly to insert my serial number into the program and been told by the program that the "Serial Number/Mobile number not valid" (this combo in invalid or something like that.) Upon my impatience to find a solution today (12/29/05) I have "Googled" "xingtone serial number problem" and found tons and tons of blogs etc all refering to a common problem that has yet to be resolved for me (unfortuantly the solution was not to be found.)

Version: Xingtone Ringtone Maker 4.2.12
"Excellent Program with only a few minor flaws."
Pros: Easy to use. Point and click interface.
Reliable. Tones got to my new Sanyo Sprint PCS phone within 10-15 seconds.
Cons: $20 serial number is tied to my mobile number. That means I have to spend ANOTHER $20 for a new serial number for my wife's phone. That's crap considering we share the same Sprint PCS account.
Poor audio editing options.
Only formats from .mp3 to ringtone. (Needs to be able to take other audio formats, .wav, real, etc.
