Version: XP Tools Pro 8.1
Pros: When you?re trying to enchance and control your Windows, you have many options and utilities. The two most common extremes are «one utility for each single function» and «a suite for all service tasks». XP Tools software follows the second approach, and I should say it does the best in the logical organization and effective control.
Let's take a short guide through XP Tools and its usage patterns. The program has multiple areas of application divided into handy sections.
The first one, Cleanup and Optimize, allows you to get rid of what can slow down your computer, lead to its malfunction, take excess disk space, and so on. You?ll easily cleanup and optimize disk, memory, startup and other systems.
The Privacy and Security section allows you to protect or wipe information (hide private data or reliably delete it) and wipe off the «traces» of all activities on the computer (both local documents and internet visits).
The next section of XP Tools' goodies is Maintain and Control, which allows you to take run-time control over your Windows, like observe and control open windows, running processes and overall system status.
Finally, XP Tools has an advanced Special Utilities section, which allows you to enchance your system with controls for Auto Shutdown, Driver Backup and Windows shell menu extra items.
