This application provides PC-performance optimization through deep scanning and troubleshooting of Registry errors, but, unlike the name suggests, the repair function is disabled. XP Repair Pro has a clean and easy-to-understand interface with Windows-style buttons and a modern look. The program searches for PC and Registry errors through deep analysis, then displays key values and their corresponding errors. It provides error statistics, but unfortunately the repair option is restricted in this unregistered version. Another downside is once the scanning task is started, users are unable to terminate the process. On the other hand, XP Repair Pro does provide details for file and program entries, file extensions, virtual devices, and start-up programs that are no longer valid and should be removed. The program also offers helpful repair tips. With an available back-up utility, the program helps in creating a copy of your Registry for restoration once a problem arises. XP Repair Pro is a helpful tool, but its limitations will disappoint users who want to repair their systems.
