Version: XP Repair Pro 2.4.1
"If you have Windows you need this software."
Pros: I've used Registry Defender and Registry Mechanic and neither of them could fix the problems i was having with mscomm32.ocx on two different machines and XP Repair Pro fixed it both times. I was shocked. So shocked i recommended this software to everyone i work with. Someone mentioned having a problem with sp1 but it wasn't this software that caused the problem. One of my machines has the original 2002 version of XP Home with no updates and it ran perfectly fine. Don't blame the software for user error. It's called safe mode and restore the settings.

Pros: Can not think of any at this time
Cons: If I was you I would not install this software on your system. This was used on Windows XP Pro w/no service pack installed and it crashed the system to the point that the C drive was not readable. It may work fine with the service packs installed but do you really want to take the chance. If you are looking for a good stable program that will clean the REG and all the unwanted files off your PC, I recommend using VCOM SystemSuite, I have used it for years and have never had a problem. It's your call but why chance having to do a restore.

"very quick and easy to use, always creates backup"
Pros: I'm not very computer knowledgable and i installed this on my machine and my son put it on his computer. It found a total of 1200 problems on my computer and 900 on his. It works so well now he doesn't ask me to buy him a new computer anymore and I can actually open Excel now. The order process was smooth and didn't even ask me for my address. I received my registration key immediately on their website after the order was complete. Five Stars.

"ddXSoftware puts out another great program"
Pros: i've had a problem with a dll giving me problems when i turn on this computer. I emailed their tech support to ask if it would fix this particular problem. They quickly replied saying indeed it would. I purchased and scanned the machine. I turned off my computer and back on and to my relief i didn't get the error anymore. Thank you XP Repair Pro.

Pros: This program contrary to previous comment was incredibly easy to install and run. It didn't crash anything on any of my computers. (Yes, I do have 3 keys!) It DID however clean everything up out of all 3 computers. I'd recommend this program to anyone.. infact I have.
