A registry optimizer removes useless duplicate entries that Windows and other programs may leave behind instead of properly removing like they should. System Restore functionality takes advantage of Windows own system allowing you to make a fail-safe backup of your entire machine at anytime. Also included is a Registry Editor that adds new tools to Windows own editor. Version 3.1.3 added a full featured Registry Editor and System Restore capability and have doubled the error database. The entire interface has been overhauled and allows full customization.

"Extremely Fast and Reliable. Uninstaller is in the Start Menu"
Pros: Extremely Fast and Reliable software. I ran and purchased this a few weeks back. Why do people spend all this time to post and not spend any time to look at their machine first.
Look on your start menu where 99% of uninstallers end up for their application.

Pros: My computer was crashing at least twice a day. I'd run several different spyware tools as well as my anti-virus, but it just kept crashing. Needless to say when I purchased XP Repair Pro I didn't expect the problem to go away - In fact the only reason I bought it was because of a friends recommendation. The problem must have been in my registry, though, because after I ran it (it found 1500 things!!) it cleaned the errors and my computer has been running smoothly since!
Not only does it not crash anymore but my whole computer seems to be running faster, period. I only wish I had bought XP Repair Pro before I wasted my money on other programs.

"great product and great service"
Pros: I do in home computer service for people and use a lot of these types of programs. The interface is well laid out and tons of great features that other registry repair programs don't include. The registry editor on this program is 100 times better then the default registry editor that Windows gives you.
I have been using this product for about three weeks and have had no negative side effects. You can choose to open at Windows startup and you can totally automate the scan and repair process.
I had used Registry Sweeper and their scanner took forever to scan and it used up so much system resources you couldn't do anything else on your machine until it was complete.
If you minimize XP Repair Pro 2006 while it's scanning or optimizing, it runs 10 times faster! I don't see that written anywhere on the program but there is a night and day difference in how fast it is completed.
Cons: I wish there was an error database that showed you what errors the program can repair; but that is no reason not to download and register this product.

Pros: I've tried them all and I'll admit I was skeptical. The first analysis of my system took more than two hours. My Registry had more than 380,000 nodes and 3,000+ errors. After letting XP Repair Pro repair my Inspiron 8600, I couldn't believe it: my system runs better than when it was brand new. It's like I gained an extra Ghz on my notebook pc! I particularly notice that resource-hogging applications like 3D video-editing tools and games run without jerking or hanging. It's great to drag out some the applications I thought I'd never be able to use on this pc and have them work flawlessly! Great tool! Compared to others like Symantec or System Mechanic which cost a lot more and do much less, this product is well worth the small pricetag.

Pros: Fast, easy to use, efficient.
As for the user who says it cannot be uninstalled, the program is on my uninstall list, as well as having it's own uninstaller available through the START menu.
I haven't had a system error or crash since installing.
