Computers would be much simpler if they could read our minds. Workspace Macro Pro takes a small step in this direction, allowing a user to automate commonly performed tasks and trigger them at the click of a button or on a daily schedule. The program creates its macros by recording a user's series of keystrokes and mouse movements, and then reproducing them later. Shortcuts can be created for almost any repetitive task, such as software testing, system maintenance, or importing data into Excel. We would have liked to see a wizard that would help users unfamiliar with the idea of macros ease into the program, but the interface itself is simple and welcoming. Individual macros can have notes and descriptions added to them, which can be helpful if you're automating many tasks. On the whole, this could be a powerful way to take the drudgery out of everyday computer operations, but novice computer users may need to spend some extra time running the program through its paces.Publisher's description

Version: Workspace Macro Pro Automation Edition 6.5.3
Pros: It is nice software. It was very easy to create a macro and check it to make sure it works. I used it for the whole test period and will probably buy it as it works great.
Cons: I want to use this software to run a macro of mouse movements and clicks several times a day when I'm not using the computer. It would be nice if it could recognize that I am using the computer and not run while I am using it.

Pros: Being non-technical, creating macros is really easy and accurate. The GUI is also very user-friendly. I tried editing the task in the editor, piece of cake...did not expect it to be so user friendly.
Cons: Haven't come across any as yet.

"Trojan Reported By Antivirus Program on 2 Computers"
Pros: Old Workspace Macro Pro Version 6.5, bought by me over 1 year ago, worked well in 98% of all cases. There was never a virus or trojan reported.
Cons: Major problem with Antivirus program Avira Antivir in my 2 computers, further explanation below in Bottom-line summary.
