Although it might serve to help hone your hand-eye coordination, WoodPong's limited demo removes much of the potential fun. Modeled after the classic Pong game, this iteration lets you play with updated graphics as well as the original ones. As you might expect, the old-school option is extremely primitive in appearance, though an upbeat techno soundtrack adds a new twist. The more modern design throws a wooden slant on everything, but these graphics are by no means top-notch. You will find an acceptable set of features, including several difficulty levels, the ability to play with your keyboard instead of your mouse, and an option for changing the game speed. The registered version includes several game variants and a two-player mode, but the demo won't let you access them. In fact, all this trial version will let you do is play in Training mode, so you won't even be able to score points. Therefore, WoodPong is only suitable for users in need of a simple practice tool.
