The video quality generated is poor. VHS tapes look better.
All the positive reviews of this product seem suspect. They were probably written by their employees.Cons
Their return policy states that your satisfaction is guaranteed. What they really mean is, try the demo version (which has most of the features disabled), and if you like it buy it. If you don't like it, don't. But once they have your money, they will not give it back, ever.
Summary
This is really poor quality crap. I got a taste of it with the demo software. It seemed like it might be ok, so I went ahead, like an idiot, and purchased the full copy. The product turned out to be horrible. A total and complete waste of money.

Purchased this program with high hopes of converting movies to play on my new AppleTV. Right from the start, nothing worked. They took days to process the order and when it finally went through, they never sent me my registration code. Went back to their site, jumped through their hoops, and was rewarded with a registration code that--when I tried to input it--was said to be "pirated", even though I bought the program from their homepage. That was almost two weeks ago. Made numerous attempts to contact them via email, but only ever received an automatic reply.
Waste of $40.
Disgust is too small a word for what I'm feeling right now.Summary
Don't bother. Download Handbrake freeware. It'll save you time, money, and an endless heap of frustration. Wondershare=epic fail.

A serious problem for me is that the sound is not perfectly in sync with the video when converting from WMV to AVI. I have tried it in two moves also WMV to MP4 then MP4 to AVI. Same problem. I have not tried other format conversions

I have a Quad core Phenom 9950 CPU and this runs it at 100% which is unforgivable for such a small programme, plus conversion is very slow

This didn't produce any sound for me. Despite promising me a refund if they couldn't fix it they didn't. I tried for weeks to get it going, doing all the downloads and changes recommended by their 'support' person. Then they just turned their back on me and I lost all my money, stating that it must be my system. Have since used other products which work fine... wondershare will rip you off aswell. You have been warned.
