"Do not waste your money."
Version: Wondershare AllMyTube 4.3.1
Very few. Safari no longer has an activity window that allows easy access to video you would like to download. Apple did not think to include this functionality in it's evolving Mac OS X (10.8.4). Shame on Apple; Jobs would not have signed off on that. This program purports to fill the void. Sadly, it does this poorly. Only a small percentage of the requested downloads actually were completed; the majority had a message "failed to obtain video info."
Essentially, this is software that should not be on the market. It does not perform the functions it says it will in a reliable manner.
Poor product. Shame on Wondershare and shame on Apple for creating the need for this "junkware." I wish I could get my money and my wasted time back.
"Wondershare = iSkysoft - A ring of scamming companies"
Version: Wondershare AllMyTube 3.2.4
Wondershare is the trunk of a Chinese tree notorious for producing hastily made software, usually "specializing" in media conversion. That tree then has several branches, such as iSkysoft and Aimersoft. A good indication you've found a scam is if the company's name ends in "-soft" and it converts or downloads media.
For example, take a look at iSkysoft's iTube Studio for Mac and Wondershare's AllMyTube product pages. You'll notice that both feature screenshots of strikingly similar-looking software. While the software's interface is skinned differently for each brand, it works... well doesn't work... the same in terms of functionality. The interfaces are invariably garish and the UI clumsy. Then look at the website design and layout... they both offer the same products that perform the same functions and have identical features. The packaging is slightly different, but there is a noticeable resemblance between the designs: sometimes they attempt to look "sleek", others like they're ported from Windows or vey generic or unprofessional, featuring cartoonish elements. They offer support for the same websites, have the same graphics in the product overview: similar compatibility indicators (for instance the Mountain Lion for OS X 10.8 is placed in the same spot on the packages and pictures), graphics, screenshots, promotional pictures, similar interfaces, device support, etc. etc. If you're not convinced by now, look at the Reviews sections for each company's products.
Wondershare's Video Converter Ultimate and iSkysoft's iMedia Converter Deluxe both have astounding 4.5-5 stars ratings. Every reviewer raves about how great this product is and has absolutely nothing bad to say. Let's take a look at the IP addresses of those commenters: Oh would you look at that, they're all from the same place... in China! And how about the company's website? You guess it: same location! Now let's take a look at some reviews on other websites... how about CNET or the Mac App Store? Well... it's not pretty. 3/5 stars is the average, and the reviews have, well, nothing positive to report... they mostly consist of the company's lack of customer support and the how the software is completely unusable because it works give or take 20% of the time, primarily on YouTube. You'll see the same raving reviews on iSkysoft's nearly-identical products on their website... not on other sites, though.
Furthermore, these types of companies love to spam forums, and positive responses come from the same IP address as the original thread did. When confronted, they have tons of excuses, including blaming it on affiliate companies, poor marketing firms, saying they were stopping, etc. etc. But they kept on doing it... time after time. Another similarity is when you click "buy" on a product on either website, an identical deal section at the bottom of the screen including the same types of software bundled for the same savings and discounts... all put together on an exact replica of the other's. Sometimes they'll even throw some curveballs: iSkysoft DVD Ripper and Aimersoft DVD Ripper both cost $39... but Wondershare's DVD Ripper costs an extra $6... $45. In tutorials they act as a customer asking a question, and then proceed to answer that question as a representative, and then the poster will then proceed to thank the representative for the "great customer service." They will also reply to reviews with complaints on other sites, too... offering often unhelpful advice on how to fix issues, usually saying to fill out some form or send an email that will never be looked at. They then try to post comments saying things like how it worked for them, trying to boost their image, often to no avail. But wait, there's more! They go so far as to creating shareware sites with raving reviews and ratings. All of this from the same IP addresses.
Here's a list of companies to avoid:
ImTOO Software Studio
Mac DVD Ripper Soft

Version: Wondershare AllMyTube 3.2.0
Works about 5% of the time.
Fails about 95% of the time.
Occasionally prevents other programs from coming to the front until AllMyTube is terminated.
A waste of money. The most unreliable software I've ever had the misfortune of purchasing. I strongly recommend against buying this until Wondershare can get it working properly (I'm using v4.1.0). This behaves like an early alpha version.
"I am extremely disappointed in AllMyTube for Mac."
Version: Wondershare AllMyTube 3.1.0
I cannot think of anything positive to say about a product that costs money and fails to perform as advertised.
I'm a teacher. The network at school blocks YouTube. If I find a YouTube video I want to show my students, I must download it at home and transfer it to my computer at school. Until recently, KeepVid.com performed this task quickly and reliably for free. I purchased Wondershare's product when KeepVid stopped working. I used it a couple of times right after I bought it one and a half months ago. It was slower than KeepVid, but it eventually worked. I needed it this evening, and it failed to download three different YouTube videos. I e-mailed the tech support people, but I may not received an answer for 48 hours. I do not have 48 hours. I'd like to use the videos in class tomorrow morning. I'm afraid I wasted $29.00 of my hard-earned money for an unreliable product.
Find another product if you really rely on the ability to download videos in order to do your job.
"Not bad for YouTube video downloads"
Version: Wondershare AllMyTube 3.1.0
First the software is completely combatible with Mac
Secondly I can download any video from YouTube
Supports limited number of video websites
The program runs Ok on my Mac. Video downloaded from YouTube has an awesome quality. But I still need a good downloader to capture the videos form other websites.
"Nice snappy app!"
Version: Wondershare AllMyTube 3.0.0
Useful features and nic interface. Always in my use!
Not support RTMP
This app is dead simple yet really full featured.
"DOES NOT WORK."
Version: Wondershare AllMyTube 3.0.0
It worked for a couple of weeks, but no longer downloads anything.
It does not work.
Do NOT waste your money- it does not work!
"This program is inconsistent at best"
Version: Wondershare AllMyTube 2.1.0
Downloads from YouTube with no problems.
Conversion to other file type almost always fails with no explanation.
Do not recommend.
"It can work well when I open the common video website."
Version: Wondershare AllMyTube 1.2.6
It can automatically detect and download online videos from YouTube, Google, Yahoo, MySpace etc. I have tried it.
