This free plug-in is for all you old-school users who want to recapture the look of Firefox 1.5.

Winestripe (classic 1.5 look for Firefox 2.0) does exactly what its name suggests: it replaces Firefox 2.0's theme with Firefox's 1.5 theme. You'll find the program under your Add-ons menu. Gone are 2.0's muted, one-dimensional icons. In their place, you'll find the more colorful, dimensional-navigational icons from 1.5. The change is only superficial, though. The drop-down menus still look the same and everything's located in the same place.

Winestripe couldn't be easier to use and it performs exactly as promised. If you're not a fan of Firefox 2.0's theme, and wish you could turn back time, then Winestripe is the theme for you.

This is the classic Firefox 1.5 theme for Firefox 2.0. I didn't like the new default theme at all, so I tried to convert the old one for Firefox 2.0 and thought I'd share the theme with everyone who doesn't like the new default theme either. Feel free to let me know if you find areas that could be improved. This version is the first release on CNET Download.com.
