Version: Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor RC1
"The professional opinion on you and Vista"
Pros: Find out easily which version of Vista is right for you, whether you need any new hardware or drivers, and whether you have compatability issues with any of your programs with this easy to use little convenient free tool that's basically like talking to a programmer from Microsoft and getting a professional opinion.

"Strange. It scans forever and ever and ever...."
Pros: On one computer i tried and installed, it worked, scanned and helped diagnosing if pc is worth to upgrade or not.
Cons: On the other side, i tried on two more computers and it scanned systems about 2 hours and gone to indefinite loop - never ended. I had to stop it with end task... but trying again after reset and even reinstall did not work. Shame..

Pros: Can't think of one--it never did anything except request that more files be downloaded.
Cons: I have tried to run this program on a number of computers. Gotcha!! There are about a half dozen files missing that must first be downloaded from the Microsoft site in order to enable this program. It's extremely time consuming and frustrating. Why aren't these files simply included in the download?
