"Great for the basics and beginners"
Pros: Easy to use, good selections for effects, transitions, and output formats.

Version: Windows Movie Maker (Windows Vista) 2.6.4037
"This software is great for creating simple slide shows."
Pros: Simple, convinent, free, gets the job done, usually no bugs or issues, slide shows are very customizable, burn straight to DVD's, final products are fun to watch.
Cons: Not very detailistic, not extremely professional, very basic.
Summary: I like this software a lot. It's easier to hire someone to do it though.

Version: Windows Movie Maker (Windows Vista) 2.6.4037
"Average - good if you're a beginner."
Pros: Nice and easy, simple and sweet. VERY uncomplicated. A monkey could use it.
Cons: Does not upload many file types. I couldn't import an MPG file. Crashes a hell of a lot, sometimes the music file jumps and the timing messes up so you have to go back to the beginning again.
Summary: Good if you simply want to make a video, bish bash bosh - done.
Not good if you are looking for something that looks professional, and in HD.
By all means use it - but don't expect anything incredible. - See all 44 user reviews Write review
