This application claims to recover a user password instantly for Windows 2000, XP Home, and XP Professional but didn t find passwords when tested. Its interface is straightforward and easy to understand, with a single button for retrieval. When clicked, a message appears advising users the demo only provides the first letter of the password. During our tests, results were returned in seconds, but Windows 2000/XP Password Recovery inaccurately did not detect a user password. Furthermore, the program didn t provide any troubleshooting guidance, but the publisher notes that security settings may impact the product s usability. Anyone with a version of the above operating systems can use this application, but nothing sets it apart from other similar applications.Publisher's description
From Alpine Snow :Windows 2000/XP Password Recovery instantly recovers lost or forgotten passwords to the user currently logged into Windows. Compatible with Windows 2000, XP Home and XP Professional with SP1, not SP2.

Version: Windows 2000/XP Password Recovery 1
"Better Products For Free Elsewhere"
Pros: None. The Offline NT Password & Registry Editor is FREE and works MUCH better, as well as working on NT 3.51, NT 4 (all versions and SP), Windows 2000 (all versions), Windows XP (all versions, also SP2), Windows Server 2003. Do a Google search for 'Linux NT Boot Disk.'
Cons: Not free; doesn't work with XP SP 2.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Did not work. I ran it on windows xp with service pack 3 and it first said "the demo will only get the first letter" and then it said "no password to recover!".
