Version: Window Washer 6.0
"It cleans your system but runs slowly"
Pros: Window Washer does a good job of cleaning up your system, including browser caches, cookies, and temporary files and settings left by applications. It appears to be very thorough and does a good job.
Cons: It's slow. Also, it does a few surprising things. For example, after I ran it the first time, all of my Windows fonts were set to use OpenType on screen. It turns out this is a setting hidden away in the application, which is a fairly obscure default option for a program like this.

"Does what it sets out to do but very slowly"
Pros: Does what it promises its going to do and well.
Cons: Speed is by far an issue. It is extremely slow.

Pros: Seems like a generally solid product.
Cons: Ironically enough I started experiencing some minor problems with SpySweeper, another Webroot product, immediately after install (i.e. wouldn't start with Windows, etc.).

"It says what it does, not like the majority of others, that are real scams"
Pros: It is a good product, I couldent recommend it any more highly, it works and does not crash, and is made by a reputable company not like many others who spam and spam you, with ads saying click because your pc is not secure evidence elliminator is one of those and i wouldent touch it with a barge pole.
I am more incline to trust companies that look after you, and who do not spam you all the time on the web, to be a comapny that needs to spam everywhere to sell their product, cant have a good reliable product in the first place.
Cons: It can be a tad slow, but these days it isnt a product that you cant really do without. I noticed one commment about it being slow, but you can run it when you need to and not all the time.
People should also be aware that most of these type programs are just fads and do not work. Is you pc really secure when you sell it secondhand, you would be surprised how much it may not be that secure, and a person who knows what they are doing can retrieve your bank account details ect. This program elliminates data that is hidden on your hard drvie, making it more secure. I also highly recommend their product called spysweeper.

"Window Washer doesn't clean what it says it will!"
Pros: None!
Cons: This product has proved to be nothing more than a bad joke foisted upon unknowing computer users. For years I too had used it thinking it was actually cleaning the areas of my C drive that the manufacturer (Webroot) said it would. That turned out to be a sham....nothing but a big lie. After running tests with several other pieces of software it became clear to me that supposedly "permanently erased" files remained on my computer after using Window Washer. There was proof enough to sufficiently convince me that I had been badly duped. Please don't make the same mistake and think that the product's "busy" interface means it's actually doing something. Other reviews of this software reiterate what I say. If you want a quality "cleaner" I might recommend a product like Cyberscrub....for unlike Window Washer it cleans as advertized.
